Grattan Brass Fasteners

Brass Fasteners: brass nuts and bolts. Brass fasteners are a soft alloy composed of copper and zinc. Brass fasteners: brass nuts and bolts are used in applications where corrosion resistance is wanted. Brass nuts and bolts are often used for their gold aesthetic appearance. Please find our selection of brass bolts and nuts below:

WARNING: Brass Fasteners can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling! For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

  • Acorn Cap Nuts

Brass Acorn Cap Nuts: An internally threaded nut with a closed dome for the purpose of threading onto an externally threaded bolt or screw. It gives a safe finish installation by not exposing the screw or bolts threads. The Brass Cap Nuts are made of a solid brass material generally used in marine applications or where corrosion is a problem.
  • All Thread

Brass Threaded Rod | Brass All Thread: Is a continuous externally threaded steel rod. The threaded rod is of solid brass for marine applications or where corrosion is a problem. We stock brass threaded rod in a variety of diameters and lengths.
  • Finish Washers

Brass/Nickel Countersunk Finishing Washers: Also known as a cup washer. Its purpose is to recess a countersunk screw head where a round finish with greater bearing surface is necessary and on a surface of a material that’s too thin to countersink. The finishing washer is made of a solid brass and generally used in marine applications or where corrosion is a problem.
  • Flat Washers

Brass Flat Washers: A stamped steel product for the purpose of proving a bearing surface between the fasteners and the mounting surface. The brass washer is made of solid brass for marine or decoration or where corrosion may be a problem.
  • Hex Bolts

Brass Hex Bolt: A headed and externally threaded mechanical device designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts to mate with an internally threaded part such as a nut.
  • Hex Nuts

Brass Hex Finish Nuts: A preformed bock of metal possessing an internal or female thread intended for use on an external or male thread such as a bolt for the purpose of tightening or holding two or more bodies in definite relative positions. The nut is made of a solid brass and generally used in marine applications or for appearance or where corrosion is a problem.
  • Knurled Nuts

Brass Knurled Nuts: An internally threaded device with a round serrated external surface for intent to be tightened & released by hand.
  • Machine Screws

Brass Machine Screw: A headed and externally threaded screw possessing capabilities which permit it to be inserted into holes in assembled parts mating with a preformed internal thread. The screw is made of solid brass and is generally used in marine applications or where appearance or corrosion resistance is required.
  • Split Lock Washers

Silicon Bronze split lock washers: Provide a bearing surface under a fastener. Split lock washers are rings split at one point and bent into a helical shape. When a spring force against the nut or bolt head is applied it compresses the washer and helps prevent the fastener from loosening.
  • Wing Nuts

Brass Wing Nuts: A forged internally threaded nut with large wings for the purpose of tightening and loosing by hand. It is intended to mate with external thread such as a bolt or a screw. The brass wing nut is made of solid brass and generally used in marine application or for appearance or where corrosion may be a problem.
  • Wood Screws

Brass Wood Screws: A headed and externally threaded screw with a gimlet point to thread into a predrilled pilot hole into wood. The screw is made of a solid brass and is generally used in marine applications or for appearance or where corrosion is a problem.
